Since 1953, the Home Builders Association (HBA) of Greater Austin has served as the leading not-for-profit trade organization dedicated to residential construction and remodeling in Central Texas. With approximately 750 member firms, the HBA works with government, public, business and community organizations in six counties - Bastrop, Caldwell, Hays, Lee, Travis and Williamson - to protect every family’s right to home ownership.

The HBA and its members work to ensure that those who protect us, teach our children, and provide essential services can afford to live here. The majority of new homes are purchased by middle-class families – the very people at risk of being priced out of our communities by rising taxes, government fees and regulations.

Thank you to the HBA of Greater Austin for contributing towards an endowed scholarship for Construction Science and Management students at Texas State University. Philanthropic actions of organizations such as HBA provides continued education opportunities for academically outstanding students. In doing so, not only do students benefit, but the industry as a whole.

As an organization, we greatly look forward to continuing involvement with HBA of Greater Austin and HBA of Hay's County.
